Kansas electric cooperatives offer two incredible youth programs, and if you're selected, your sponsoring cooperative will cover all expenses, including transportation, lodging, meals, and activities!
Electric Cooperative Youth Tour – June
Join 40 students from Kansas and Hawaii for an exciting trip to Washington, D.C. You'll meet national leaders, tour iconic landmarks, and gain a deeper understanding of how our government works.
Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp – July
Head to the beautiful Colorado mountains with around 80 students from Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming. Enjoy outdoor adventures, team-building activities, and leadership workshops in a stunning setting.

To apply for either youth program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a current high school junior. (Note: Some electric cooperatives also allow sophomores to apply — check with your local co-op for details.)
- Have a parent or legal guardian who is a member of a participating electric cooperative.
